Ottawa, Canada

I'm the worlds worst blogger, I know, but I have been extremely busy lately! I just wanted to take a moment to brag on the best husband ever!! He just got signed with a minor league baseball team called the Ottawa Fat Cats. It has been his dream to play pro baseball his whole life and although he is not quite in the  big leagues yet, this is one step closer! He left for Ottawa, Canada last Thursday and drove the 21 hours it takes to get there from Butler, GA. I had to work my last week at the bank so I didn't fly in until today. It is very rainy and cold today, but still beautiful! We will be living here until around August 30th. We are very excited to take on this awesome opportunity.

Fat Cats announced today they have signed another power hitting import player, 6-foot four, two-hundred and forty pound first baseman Clae Mathis, of Macon, Georgia. Mathis, 23, hit .360 with seven home runs and 47 RBI’s in 27 games this year with Macon State College. The addition of Mathis at first base will improve the infield play of the Fat Cats with his good glove, large target and defensive range. More impressively, Mathis also possesses above-average major league power to all fields. He had no less than three Independent professional teams seeking his services for this season.
